Preparing for Marriage can take some time. Here is what you need to have ready for when you visit our Authorised Marriage Celebrant:

• Make sure you have filled out the Notice of Intended Marriage. This form needs to be filled out at least one month before the marriage date. There is no loophole around this as every couple must go through this wait time.
• Make sure you have appropriate identification and that you have provided them to the Authorised Marriage Celebrant. This includes a passport, a birth certificate etc.
• If you are required to fill out a Statutory Declaration, then ensure that it is filled out, signed by yourself and an Authorised witness.
  
• Pay any fees so that you don’t have to worry about it later on.
• Double check the documents to make sure there are no mistakes.
